Clean technologies companies, invited to apply for the EU Business Avenues Programme

Deloitte invites companies specialized in clean technologies to apply for the EU Business Avenues Clean Technologies 2015 programme during which they can participate in a one-week business mission to Singapore and Vietnam.

The project is funded and managed by the European Commission, Deloitte acting as a partner of the EU institution.

Companies interested to enroll in this programme can send their applications by February 13, 2015.

The business trip will take place from June 15 to June 19, 2015 and it will include sector expert presentations, site visits, networking opportunities and business matching events including one-to-one meetings in Singapore and Vietnam.

This year's programme is open for companies operating in all clean technologies related fields, yet it has a primary focus on companies active in water solutions, waste management, pollution control and recycling travelling to Singapore, while in Vietnam, there is a pressing focus on clean water and waste management. Secondary focus lies on green energy technologies for both locations, and smart grids and energy efficiency for Singapore only.

The selection process will take into account some well-defined criteria, hence, in order for a company to be eligible, it should be in business for five years and be able to demonstrate three years of financial figures, have entire or majority EU ownership, be located and have main activities in the EU; be active and operational in the Clean Technologies sector, either as a producer, a sub-contractor or as an R&D or engineering company in clean energy technologies; should prove interest in developing business in South East Asian markets; should have a sufficient turnover and number of employees to enter South East Asian markets successfully.

The programme covers costs for accommodation (up to 1,000 euro) and co-funds the customized services covering 80 percent of the costs incurred (up to 1,600 euro).
