PeliFilip assisted Argo Group in the sale of Shopping City Sibiu to NEPI
Law firm PeliFilip assisted Argo Group in the sale of retail park Shopping City Sibiu to NEPI, a 100 million euro transaction , which sets it as one of the reference real estate transactions in Romania in 2016.
PeliFilip legal team involved in the transaction was coordinated by Oana Bădărău and included them on Gianina Gavanescu and Mihaela Ispas, Senior Associates.
With a total rentable area of 79 100 square meters, Sibiu Shopping City is the largest retail park in Romania and the first and only shopping center in Sibiu. It was inaugurated in November 2006, having at the time an Auchan hypermarket, a gallery adjacent to a Leroy Merlin store and subsequently was extended, adding a Carrefour hypermarket, fashion and sports brands, a large furniture store and appliances retailers.
NEPI also purchased 30% shares from Real4You in Mega Mall in Bucharest, reaching now 100% of its shares. In the retail sector, NEPI owns Mega Mall, Promenada Mall, Iris Titan Shopping Center, Vulcan Value Centre, City Park in Constanta, Shopping City Deva, Braila Mall, Vulcan Value Centre, Shopping City Galati, Pitesti Retail Park, Ploiesti Shopping City, Shopping City Targu Jiu, Shopping City Timisoara, Severin Shopping Center and Aurora Shopping Mall in Buzau.
The secondary segment of the company, the office buildings, consist of Floreasca Business Park, City Business Centre, The Lakeview and The Office, whereas the industrial area, Rasnov Industrial Facility and Otopeni Warehouse.
