New Dacia car registrations increased by 21.1% between January and November, 2103 recording the highest growth among the EU countries this year. Ford continues the production adjustment policy due to the difficult situation on the European automotive market and reflected by a lower demand for the B-Max model. German automotive company Continental concluded a 40 million Euro investment in a fuel pump factory located in Ghimbav Industrial Park, Brasov County. When opperating at full capacity the production will amount to seven million units / year. Among the car manufacturers that will equip cars with fuel pumps produced in Ghimbav are Volkswagen AG group, Ford, BMW, Mercedes -Benz , PSA Peugeot Citroen and Renault....more »

Dacia plant became an important target for investors in the automotive supply field due to the EUR2 billion Renault Group invested in Romania.'There are 648 suppliers of parts for series production, 248 suppliers of aftermarket parts and another 108 companies working with Renault Romanian branch. We aim to give our suppliers the opportunity to develop. We are aware that it means spending money, but it will prove to be worth the effort. The automotive parts manufacturer will receive a loan of EUR122,5 million from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (BERD) for developing the company's operations in several countries, including Romania. Through this financing, Faurecia will support the investment plan designed for the four countries where BERD operates: Maroc, Polonia, Rusia and Romania.
