 The Romanian 2018 Health @ Work Conference will provide a platform of best practice sharing for those developing and integrating health and wellbeing programs within companies. 

The conference is targeting healthcare professionals, HSE and human resource managers, invited to exchange knowledge, learn, network and share best practice experience and innovative solutions for occupational health programs implementation.

Registration conditions: The program and the speakers are subject to change. Should the conference be cancelled due to force majeure, unavailability of the conference venue, speakers being prevented or for other good cause, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the conference. In case of cancellation all participants will be informed promptly. In this case, all registration fees will be reimbursed.

Payment: Payment can be made by bank transfer prior to the event. Please take into consideration the limited seats availability, therefore we recommend that registrations are made prior to the week of the event.

Hotel: Exclusively for you we have got a limited number of rooms available at special rates in the InterContinental Hotel Bucharest. In order to accommodate you together with the other participants, please reserve your room by no later than one week before arrival.

Dantes Nicolae Bratu
General Inspector of State, Labour Inspection

Mr. Dantes Nicolae Bratu is the General Inspector of State for Labour Inspection since October 2014. Previously, between April and October 2014 he served as General Secretary for the Department for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men within the Ministry of Labor, Family and Social Protection and between August 2012 and April 2014 he served as Deputy General Secretary for the Ministry of Labor, Family and Social Protection. Mr. Dantes Nicolae Bratu served as General Inspector of State for Labour Inspection also between April 2011 and August 2012.

Doru Darabont
General Director of the National Research and Development Institute of Occupational Safety (INCDPM) - "Alexandru Darabont"

Mr. Doru Darabont is the general director of the National Research and Development Institute of Occupational Safety (INCDPM) - "Alexandru Darabont" since 2014. Between 2012 and 2014 he coordinated the activities of the Department "Technical Work Equipment" Laboratory "Mechanical Risks" and "Risk Electrical Laboratory". He elaborated numerous research papers on health and safety at work, assessment level of security / risk, technical assistance and training operators and improvement in health and safety at work.

Mr. Darabont has a Ph.D. in engineering field of "Engineering Sciences" and a Master diploma in "Management of safety, health and labor relations".

Dr. Theodor Haratau
Executive Director Romtens Foundation

Mr. Theodor Haratau has been a member of the ENWHP for the past 19 years and also enjoys the status of ENWHP Board member; he is a trained medical doctor, with an MBA, and is holding broad interests in terms of the design and evaluation of workplace health promotion programs. He effectively designed and led the implementation of numerous such programs, by working with companies willing to unfold workplace health promotion projects.  

Nadia Ciuhat
ESH Manager at Continental Automotive Products

Nadia Ciuhat is responsible with the implementation of the Romanian legal requirements in force as well as internal standards for occupational safety, environmental protection and fire protection at Continental Automotive Products. She is a graduate of UPTimisoara, Industrial Chemical and Environmental Engineering Faculty and has a master degree for the Rubber Technology within the UP Timisoara.

Dr. Adrian Elisei
Managing Director at PREMIER CLINIC

Dr. Adrian Elisei is the Manging Director of Premier Clinic and has an outstading experience in labor medicine. Dr. Elisei is a primary healthcare practitioner and a family medicine specialist with competence in sports medicine and accredited in alternative therapies. Dr. Elisei is also co-founder of the complementary / alternative medicine practitioners' order in Bucharest.

Mircea Rus
HSE Manager at ENDAVA

Mr. Mircea Rus is the HSE coordinator at Endava. His professional backgroundincludes the position of Safety Health & Environment Manager at FrieslandCampina Romania, MR Safety, Owner – consulting company and HSE responsible at Fujikura Automotive Romania.

Cornel Marius Radulescu
HSE Manager at Policolor

Mr. Cornel Radulescu is trhe HSE coordinator at Policolor. He is a trained professional with almost 20 years of experience in safety and fire protection programs. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Engineering and Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety Risk Assessment. Holder of Civil Defense and Fire protection certificates. Certified auditor on ISO 9001, ISO 19011 and ISO 14001. Fully trained & qualified for HS&E programs, IH&S, Fire Protection, Thermal Safety and other systems. 

Cosmin Ilie
Group Leader Safety,Health and Security Continental Automotive Products Tyres Division

Cosmin Ilie is group leader in ESH department and he is in charge of Safety, Health and Security topics at Continental Automotive Products Timisoara. He is working in this position from July 2017. Before this he was security coordinator and firefighter with proven competencies.

Sebastian Sbirna
Deputy Manager HSE, Vimetco ALRO

Mr. Sebastian Sbirna is the Deputy Manager of Health, Safety & Environment Department at Vimetco ALRO. He has taken his PhD in chemistry at the Romanian Academy. He also has two master degrees: Master of Business Administration and Master of the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering within the Babes-Bolyai University from Cluj-Napoca.

Producing over 200,000 metric tonnes of primary aluminium, Alro is the largest aluminium smelter in Central and Eastern Europe (excluding CIS). Alro is one of Romania’s largest companies with an important contribution to the local and national economic development. The company is part of the 7th largest aluminium producer worldwide, Vimetco NV, which has operations in Romania, China and Sierra Leone. Alro's shares are traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

Drd. Alina Stoica
Nutritionist

Founder of an unique concept in Romania, Nutribalance concept, which forwards the importance of nutrition education for physical, emotional and intellectual health, Alina visits pupils weekly in order to achieve this concept’s purpose. Alina Stoica has a license in Biochemistry and is a member of the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Practitioners’ Comission. 

Emilia Rusu
Manager HSE at ALUM SA

Emilia Rusu is Health , Safety and Environment Manager at ALUM SA. She is an engineer and a licensed lawyer. Ms. Rusu graduated from the Faculty of Food Industries and Piscicultural Engineering from "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati and from the Faculty of Law of the Ecological University of Bucharest.

Prior to working in Alum she was a deputy coordinating director at the Tulcea Territorial Labor Inspectorate. In Alum SA she is working since 2010, and graduated several specialized postgraduate courses, including: "Environmental Management and Sustainable Development", "Integrated Internal Quality Auditor-Environment-Occupational Health and Safety "," Occupational Health and Safety Assessor ".
