Payment: Payment can be made by bank transfer prior to the event. Please take into consideration the limited seats availability, therefore we recommend that registrations are made prior to the week of the event.

Substitution and cancellation policy
After registering for the Event, if you cancel your attendance more than one week prior to the date of the Event, you will receive a full refund of the amount of your payment. If you cancel within one weeks of the date of the Event, you will not be eligible for a refund; however, substitutions can be arranged with no extra cost from within a company or organization. No refunds for no shows. Cancellation requests must be received in writing.

Razvan Grecu is Chairman of the Romanian Association for Promotion of Energy Efficiency (ARPEE) since June 2017. He is the head of strategy and public affairs in ENGIE Romania since 2012 when he joined the company from a advisory firm.

Mr. Zoltan Nagy – Bege has more than 10 years' experience working on energy regulatory activities since 2007 as General Director for gas market, regulations for electricity, renewables, energy efficiency and cogeneration. Also he was involved on approving the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) regulations as member of the Regulatory Board of ANRE for 5 years. Since October 2017, Mr. Zoltan Nagy – Bege was appointed as ANRE Vice-President for 5 years term by the Romanian Parliament and he is the Head of the Energy Efficiency Department within ANRE.

Mrs. Elena Popescu, PhD Power Engineering, graduated from Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Energy Faculty, she holds a PhD on energy policies and optimal energy mix and a Master of Science on management and ecology of engineering systems.
Between 2007 – 2012, she acted as counselor at the Permanent Representation of Romania to the European Union, in Brussels, responsible for international affairs in energy and nuclear affairs, representing Romania in the related Working Groups at European Council and European Commission.
Since September 2013, Mrs. Elena Popescu is the General Director of the Energy Policies Department, Ministry of Energy of Romania. With extensive experience in the energy industry, energy administration and European and international affairs in energy field, she coordinates activities related to the development, implementation of an integrated energy and climate change policy and regulatory framework for the energy sector in Romania and coordinates also the technical view for the integrated Romanian position on energy field for the European Council and in relation with EU

Bela Balazs joined Romgaz in 2009 as an engineer, starting as head of the Maintenance Office – Mechanical – Energetic Division, Head of the Emergency Situations Department, and from 2013 until now he is Director of the Energy Management Department at Romgaz Medias. His technical background prepared him for the activity of project management in energy and Romgaz’s new elecric energy department is an opporunity for direct contribution.

Valérie Plainemaison is EFIEES’ Secretary General for over 10 years. EFIEES is the European Federation of Intelligent Energy Efficiency Services. Valérie has been working in the context of EU regulation with a focus on energy-efficiency services and heating and cooling policies, including the transition towards renewable energy sources. She is also active in the waste management sector at EU level.
EFIEES has actively followed the negotiations of the EU Clean Energy Package, and is also closely monitoring its transposition, with regard to the key role energy efficiency services can play for achieving european Energy Efficiency targets and, more generally, the transition towards a low-carbon economy.

Mr. Bogdan Iablonschi is Technical manager at Veolia Energie Romania. Educational background: - 2009 - Faculty of Power Engineering - UPB (domain Applied Sciences)- 2012 - Master degree in Local heating, industrial and nuclear thermal equipment engineering from the Faculty of mechanical engineering - UPB

Ms. Alina Boiangiu is the Head of Research& Development Department at Alum Tulcea. Ms Boiangiu holds a degree and a master degree in chemistry at University of Bucharest, Faculty of Chemistry. She was former head of Laboratory & Research and she was involved over the years in all research projects regarding Sierra Leone bauxite processing and alumina production.

Mr. Lucian Cotet has a degree in chemical engineering and a doctor degree in chemical engineering from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi. As ALUM’s Research Laboratory Head it led many research tests regarding bauxite processing and alumina production, red mud further utilization and new product development. Currently has the position of Deputy Technical Manager in ALUM Tulcea.

Ms. Dumitra Mereuta is an independent expert in energy efficiency, with an extensive experience working in the Ministry of Environment.

Radu Dudău is co-founder and director of EPG. He is Associate Professor of International Relations at Bucharest University. From 2006 to 2010 he was Deputy Director at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). He graduated in Physics and Philosophy from the University of Iași. He holds a Dr. Phil. degree in Philosophy (magna cum laude) from Konstanz University (Germany) and a PhD in Political Science (International Relations) (summa cum laude) from the National School of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA, Bucharest). He was a Fulbright Fellow with the National Security Program at Harvard Kennedy School of Government (2011), a New Europe College Fellow at the Danish Institute of International Relations (Copenhagen, 2006) and an OSI/FCO-Chevening scholar at Oxford University (1999-2000). His main expertise focus is energy security and natural resource geopolitics.

Dana heads the Energy Practice at Biriş Goran. A noted expert in the Romanian market for her energy expertise, she has been practicing exclusively in this field since 2002 and her experience on the Romanian energy market is unique. Dana joined back Biriş Goran after two years of heading the legal department of Hidroelectrica S.A., leader in Romanian power generation and ancillary services for the national electricity system.

The Romanian Association for Promotion of Energy Efficiency (ARPEE) is a legal entity that has as a purpose to promote, develop and sustain the activities in the field of energy efficiency in Romania. As founding members ARPEE has nine Romanian private legal entities: ABB, Alstom Power, Dalkia, Elcomex, EnergoBit, GDF Suez Energy, Lafarge, Petrom, PwC.

The Regulatory Authority for Energy ANRE is an autonomous administrative authority with legal personality, with the responsability of developing, approving and monitoring the application of the national mandatory regulations necessary for the functioning of the energy sector - electricity, heating and natural gas, ensuring efficiency, competition, transparency and consumer protection.

OMV Petrom is the largest integrated oil and gas group in South-Eastern Europe, with activities in the business segments of Upstream, Downstream Gas and Downstream Oil. With an annual oil and gas production of approximately 65 mn boe in 2015, the group is the main crude oil producer in Romania and supplies around half of the internal gas production. OMV Petrom processes crude in the Petrobrazi refinery, near Ploiesti, with a refining capacity of 4.5 mn tons/year. Petrobrazi refinery underwent a EUR 600 mn modernization program between 2010 – 2014. The Group also operates an 860 MW high efficiency power plant and a 45 MW wind park.
