
Va invitam sa participati la Romanian Lighting Industry Forum 2016, a doua editie a conferintei dedicate sectorului de iluminat din Romania, pentru a dezbate, alaturi de reprezentanti ai autoritatilor centrale si locale, a producatorilor de surse de iluminat si a specialistilor din sectorul privat, provocarile si oportunitatile oferite de dezvoltarea si implementarea proiectelor de iluminat public si privat precum si programe de eficientizare a consumului de energie prin iluminat.

Registration: Conference participation fee is 98 € + VAT/ person.
The fee includes the participation in the conference sessions, coffee breaks and lunch, as well as the conference proceedings documents.
All registration fees mentioned above exclude 20% Romanian VAT.
Registration conditions: The program and the speakers are subject to change. Should the conference be cancelled due to force majeure, unavailability of the conference venue, speakers being prevented or for other good cause, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the conference. In case of cancellation all participants will be informed promptly. In this case, all registration fees will be reimbursed.
Payment: Payment can be made by bank transfer prior to the event. Please take into consideration the limited seats availability, therefore we recommend that registrations are made prior to the week of the event.

Bogdan Puscas is the president of Public Procurement Agency within the Ministry of Public Finance since January 2016. Previously he served, for a short period of time, as personal advisor to the Prime Minister. He also worked as Director of Procurement and Administrative Direction within the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports, between February 2011 and December 2012.

Starting June 2014, Bogdan Balaci joined Philips Lighting as the new general manager for South-East Europe. His main objectives are to develop the business strategically and operationally, including strengthening the company's position as the industry leader in innovative lighting solutions. He is based in Romania and has over 15 years’ management experience in the IT market.

Petru Bogdan Alexa is the vice president of National Regulatory Authority for Public Utilities Community Services since October 2015. Previously, between December 2012 and October 2015 he worked for the Romanian Senate, on different positions.

Dorin Beu is the President of ROGBC. He is the manager of Lighting Engineering Laboratory of Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and chief-editor of Ingineria Iluminatului review. Director of Transylvania Chapter of Romanian Green Building Council (www.rogbc.org) and has teach sustainable lighting in Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Greece and Portugal.

Ms. Maierean is a graduate of the Faculty of Power Engineering, University of Politechnics, Bucharest with a strong professional experience in energy efficiency studies, at The Institute for Power Engineering Studies, Bucharest. Maierean has a Doctor’s degree in Civil Engineering, at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca; thesis: Lighting of the Urban Public Spaces.

Roxana Sunica is in charge of developing and implementing the strategy and the marketing plan for the first organization authorized for collecting and recycling waste lamps in Romania . She also elaborated and implemented awareness campaigns - e.g.: “Marea Debarasare”, “Ziua Verde 2008”, www.omuletiiverzi.ro, www.coltverde.ro

Mr. Andrei Cristian is Deputy General Director of the Road Infrastructure Maintanence and Monitoring Department within CNADNR.

Octavian Popescu graduated from the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest, Faculty of Building Services, with a Master’s Degree in Energy Efficiency. He joined Luxten Lighting Company in May 2013 as an electrical engineer and lighting specialist, developing lighting, electrical and energy efficiency projects for municipalities and private clients. Since 2015, he is member of the Energy Efficiency Division providing consultancy and assistance for preparation of the Measures Plan for Improving Energy Efficiency within Towns. Also Octavian is part of the ESCO projects team, in charge with the design of the interior green lighting solutions and modernization projects for reducing the energy consumption of public and private buildings.

Marius Costache is the Executive Manager of Greenlamp Reciclare S.A, the only recycling plant for lighting equipment in Romania. He also manages another two recycling plants: Greenweee International S.A. and Greenglass Recycling S.A. He has more than 12 years of experiencein the recycling industry, with solid knowledge of dealing with waste of electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE), including batteries and lighting equipment. Marius Costache holds a degree in "Materials science and Engineering- environmental technologies in metallurgy processing" and owns the “Excellence in Management" certificate, EXEC-EDU. He is also an active member of European Electronics Recyclers Association.

Ms. Venera Vlad is Principal Banker, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development EBRD.

Graduate of the Faculty of Power Engineering, University Politehnica of Bucharest (1981), and PhD in Thermal Engineering, University Politehnica of Bucharest (1997), with a solid academic experience (Faculty of Power Engineering, University Politehnica of Bucharest, Centre d’Énergétique, École des Mines de Paris), with pragmatic expertise in the energy field (over 35 years of activity in scientific research both fundamental and applied, consultancy, project management, central public administration, commercial financing) and an intense publishing activity (co-author of four books, author and co-author of 68 articles published in Romania and abroad). Current Executive Director of the Romanian Energy Efficiency Fund.

Mr. Corneliu Rotaru, PhD, is Director for Energy Efficiency Projects and Authorization Division at the National Regulatory Authority for Energy since 2009. Previously he served as high level advisor, director and general director at the National Regulatory Authority for Energy.

Recolamp Association commits to take over from the lamp producers in Romania their responsibility regarding the management of waste generated by the products delivered on the market and also to create a background to recycle it in safety conditions for the environment and for human health.
In order to decrease pollution, Recolamp association commits to carry its activity efficiently and responsibly towards the environment. Moreover, all its efforts of envisage the collection and the recycling in compliance with the regulations of the European legislation, by making people aware of the necessity to adopt a friendly behavior towards the environment.

OER (Energy Cities Romania) is a non-governmental organization, gathering 36 members, important municipalities and metropolitan area associations interested in improving the energy efficiency in public services, in promoting the renewable energy sources and in supporting the sustainable mobility planning. OER was founded in 1995, being a member of the European Network of Municipalities – «Energy Cities» – since the beginning of its activity. The LIGHTING INDUSTRY FORUM 2016 will be organized at the InterContinental Hotel in Bucharest.
