Changes in the support scheme for renewable energy produces first victims

Spanish firms Rios Solar Renovables and Rios Total Solar, part of Spanish group Rios Renovables,  active in the photovoltaic and wind sectors filled for insolvency in August 2013.  The Spanish companies are developing a photovoltaic park of about 10 megawatts in Timis county, and planned to develop locally wind farms with a total installed capacity of 140 MW.  Romania's wind farm projects had a total installed capacity of over 2,100 MW at the end of July 2013.
