Italian enterprise Energiaprima aims at expanding its PV projects portfolio in Romania

Energiaprima announces its intention to establish further solar facilities in Romania with an installed capacity of about 200 MW, thus continuing investments in our country, after completing a 105 million euro PV park in the Northern-Western area, in Satu-Mare County.

We have invested a total of 105 million euro in financing and equity in the Solaris project.In all three PV parks of 90 MW built in Romania there have been invested approximately 170 million euro. We will continue with investments, at this point we intend to build another 200 MW in four or five projects in Romania”, Antonello Amoroso, Business Development Manager at Energiaprima, stated in a media release quoted by Mediafax.     

The Solaris PV park is a joint project carried out in partnership with Bester Generacion and Stargreen Consulting, the solar station producing about 67 GWh per year,

According to the company’s information Romania alongside Poland are the main targets in terms of destinations for solar energy stations
