European Energy Leaders Gather in Bucharest at the Power Shift Summit 2024
On October 29-30, 2024, Bucharest will host the Power Shift Summit, organized by the Romanian Wind and Photovoltaic Associations (RWEA & RPIA).
Supported by European organizations WindEurope and SolarPower Europe, this major event brings together over 50 top experts from the European Commission, European Parliament, Romanian Government, and major private sector players.
The summit will serve as a key platform for dialogue on the transition to renewable energy, with discussions focusing on network development, accelerating green energy projects, and the role of AI in the energy sector. Notable speakers include Alfredo Parres from Hitachi Energy and Giles Dickson, CEO of WindEurope, who will address critical issues such as electrification and grid access.
Workshops will cover topics like energy pricing trends, consumer roles in the energy transition, local energy storage solutions, and recycling in the photovoltaic industry. Key partners include PPC Renewables, Vestas, Monsson, E.On, and Engie.
