Bancpost concludes 2-mln euro financing agreement with “Traian Vuia” International Airport in Timisoara
Bancpost announces the signing of a 3-year financing agreement for a 2-million euro loan with “Traian Vuia” International Airport in Timisoara, funds intended to cover the working capital required by the institution.

Bancpost won the financing tender organized by the Timisoara-based airport due to a high degree of adaptability and customization as well as a flexible financing offer, both in terms of duration and as concerns the structure of guarantees and price, states a press release of the bank.

The partnership with Bancpost will support the current activity of the airport for the next three years, a development period during which we proposed ourselves ambitious objectives such as the diversification of agreements with airline companies, the increase of the number of passengers, the opening of new routes and investments in infrastructure,” said Iulian Daniel Idolu, General Manager of “Traian Vuia” International Airport in Timisoara.

He further added that “This year we plan to draw up the necessary documentations for the development of intermodal freight transport, as well as the extension of the cargo hall. Thus, the credit line contracted will allow us to continue the current activity, to optimize costs and to focus on the implementation of development strategy to successfully achieve the set objectives”.

“Traian Vuia” International Airport in Timisoara is one of the strategic airports in Romania, the third by number of passengers and the second in the country from point of view of technical equipment.
