Jeongwoo Kim is the new president of the Romanian subsidiary of the South-Korean technology manufacturer, hence replacing Young Lak Jung who has managed Samsung Electronics Romania over the past four years. The latter will continue its cooperation with Samsung, being assigned a global position within the company, Mediafax informs.
Before taking over the management of Samsung’s domestic branch, Kim, who has an experience of over 25 years within the company, has occupied positions inside various departments, such as human resources, sales or marketing.
During the past two years, Kim had a similar position within Samsung for the Baltic region. Previously, between 2008 and 2011, he was in charge with the company’s global marketing operations and within the 2002 – 2008 period, he was Telecom Business Manager, coordinating the operations in Eastern Europe region.
