TAROM appointed a new Board of Directors that comprises seven members.
The structure of the new Board was voted by the General Meeting of Shareholders of the state-owned airline company, informs a press release of the Ministry of Transport.
The new directors are:
Christian Heinzmann (CEO TAROM)
Dragos Andrei (Adviser to the Prime Minister)
Radu Francis Florescu (CEO Centrade)
Marcel Ioan Bolos (Head of AMPOST)
Valentin Iordache (Communication Director at Bucharest Airports Company)
Tiberiu Ticlea (Attorney-at-Law)
Dan Aurel Machita, as provisory member (Adviser within the Ministry of Transport)
At the beginning of this month, on March 4, the interim Board of Directors of TAROM consisting of Gabriel Dumitrascu, Chairman, Dante Stein, Toma-Dorin Cimpeanu, Dan Andrei, and Anisoara Cornila resigned after approving the 2015 budget.
TAROM is controlled by the Romanian State that acts through the Ministry of Transport (96.7 percent of shares), the rest of the shares being divided between ROMATSA, SIF Muntenia, and the National Company Otopeni Bucharest Airport.
