Valerio Brenciaglia takes the lead of Ford Romania's Sales Division

Valerio Brenciaglia has been appointed to replace Zoltan Brassai as General Manager of Ford Romania – National Sales Company, the latter having been named as Brand Director- Large Cars within Ford Europa.

This is his second experience within Ford Romania as he had already been part of the team between July 2012 and September 2013, working as Sales and Marketing Manager.

I am happy to return to Romania (...) I will be endevouring to strengthen the strong presence of Ford in Romania, not only as strategic investor, but also in terms of retail fleet sales. We have a very good team and a strong distribution network and I am positive that together we will achieve Ford's ONE strategic objectives,”commented Valerio Brenciaglia.

Having his educational background in Economics, he joined Ford in 1999 and since then he has held various positions in the sales, marketing, and services departments within Ford Italy, including that of Field Operations Manager.

In the new position as General Manager of Ford's National Sales Company, Valerio Brenciaglia will also be part of Ford Romania's Board of Directors.

Ford established the National Sales Company in Romania in 2010, two years after taking over the facility production in Craiova which has benefitted from investments of more than 1 billion euro that supported the car and engine production.

Last year, Ford's sales revenues from Romania grew by nearly 42 percent year-on-year, the company's market share of 8.2 percent placing it the third amongst the best-selling car brands in the country.
