Wienerberger expands production in Romania by purchasing a new brick factory

Wienerberger, the largest producer of bricks and ceramic blocks in Romania acquired the business related to a brick factory in Berca, Buzău, owned by Search Chemicals, a company with headquarters in Constanta.

The transaction involved the transfer of business which includes the takeover by Wienerberger of the manufacturing facility. bpv Grigorescu Ştefănică provided legal advice throughout the transaction process, covering all corporate, real estate, natural resources, labour, commercial, and competition aspects involved in the acquisition process. The team was led by Cătălin Grigorescu (Managing Partner) and included Cristina Mihai (Managing Associate) and Andreea Cărare (Associate).
