Following a thorough selection process and validation from existing members, Maravela & Asociaţii has officially become the Romanian jurisdiction exclusive member of the reputed legal network International Business Law Consortium (IBLC).
IBLC is an international alliance of select law firms with an impeccable reputation for service-oriented professionalism, having been repeatedly ranked in the first tier (Band 1) by the Leading Law Firm Network section of Chambers Global.
Promoting and disseminating knowledge in a cross-border and transnational manner, IBLC was established in 1996 by the Center for International Legal Studies (CILS), a reputed law research, training, and teaching institute, founded in 1976 in Salzburg, Austria.
Currently bringing together over 80 members represented by independent law, tax and consultancy firms ranked by Chambers and Legal 500, IBLC has a strong presence in Europe and USA, consolidating its position in Asia and Africa as well.
“IBLC is very happy to have filled our gap in Romania with such a well-regarded and dynamic firm as Maravela & Asociaţii. Our members see great potential for their clients’ interests to be served in Romania now, not to mention the opportunity to help Maravela’s clients achieve their goals worldwide” Christian Campbell, Permanent Secretary IBLC.
“We are very happy to have been accepted in such a well-established, highly specialized, global reaching and dynamic legal alliance. We have already started a great working relationship with fellow IBLC members in terms of both getting and providing referrals, and feel that we have made a very good step ahead in joining the IBLC. We consider our presence in the IBLC as a further testimony of our efforts and achievements in terms of recognition and quality services, as well as an important leverage in dealing with international projects and transactions.” Alina Popescu, Co-Managing Partner, Maravela & Asociaţii.
