Romania is not intimidated by aggressive declarations of Russian diplomacy

Romania is a trusted partner of NATO and will not be intimidated by aggressive declarations of the Russian diplomacy, Prime Minister Ponta was quoted in a media release of the Executive to Agerpress.

Ponta hailed NATO's reaction to the "aggressive stance" of the Russian Foreign Ministry towards Romania. '"Romania is a NATO member state and will only take the decisions it finds correct and opportune for the security goals of its own and of the North Atlantic Alliance. Romania is a trusted partner of NATO and will not be intimidated by aggressive declarations of the Russian diplomacy. Romania condemns the aggressive actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. Also, we hail the reaction of NATO, which clearly underlines the Alliance's determination to protect its members against any form of aggression," the prime minister stated.
