Globalworth Real Estate Investments Ltd. announced the acquisition of the "C" building of the Green Court Bucharest office building, developed by Skanska. The gross transaction value is estimated at 38 million euros, and the acquisition is scheduled for the third quarter of 2017.
Located in northern Bucharest, in the Barbu Văcărescu - Floreasca area, the Green Court Bucharest campus is the first project made by Skanska in Romania. The campus comprises three A-class office buildings with a total rental area of 54,300 sqm. Globalworth already owns the A and B buildings of the complex as a result of acquisitions made in June and December 2015 respectively. The C building has a surface area of 16,300 square meters and was awarded the LEED Gold Energy Efficiency Certificate. Currently, companies like General Motors, Orange, Capgemini, ABB, Legand or Merck operate here.

The Green Court Bucharest project has been developed using environmentally friendly technologies and sustainable solutions to minimize environmental footprint and significantly reduce operating costs. Modern technologies, such as the energy-efficient façade that reduces solar thermal transfer, energy-efficient lighting systems equipped with motion and intensity sensors provide a comfortable working environment. The property also includes power stations for electric cars, bicycle parking areas and bicycle facilities, an interior courtyard with free green areas and free Wi-Fi and an IT Hub in the "C" building reception, available not only for employees Companies, but also for members of the local community.
