Largest transaction in real estate this year: Rhenus Logistics leased 14,000 sqm in Mercury Logistics Park

The German-based logistics company, Rhenus Logistics moved its operations to Mercury Logistics Park, near the Bucharest-Pitesti highway, where rented 14,000 sqm, becoming the largest real estate transaction so far in 2014, according to GS Capital Advisory which provided advisory services to Rhenus, states ZF.

Unirea Shopping Center plans to access a 70 million euro worth loan for investments

Unirea Shopping Center aims to take this year a loan of up to 70 million euro to support its investment programme. The loan which will be released in tranches is expected to be approved during the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for June 5, 2014, according to an informing sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

Victoria City Center, a new real estate project, will be developed in Bucharest

Benevo has obtained the construction permit for Victoria City Center, project that was initially scheduled to start at the beginning of the year, thus the company announces that construction works will eventually begin this July after the contracting of a construction company planned for the following month. Its opening is expected next year, in October.

JYSK leases 1.200 sqm in Colosseum Retail Park

The Danish retailer JYSK has leased 1.200 sqm in ColosseumRetail Park, the new retail box being scheduled for opening this week, on April 10. Located in the North-West Bucharest, the retail park developed by Nova Imobiliare and inaugurated in 2011, has a leasable area of 37.500 sqm, including among its major tenants Carrefour, Altex and Leroy Merlin Bricolage. With the new lease agreement concluded, transaction arranged by Jones Lang LaSalle, there remains a single big box unit available, its letting being currently under negotiations

Vodafone and Huawei, the first tenants in the Bucharest One office building

Globalworth Real Estate Investments announces the signing of lease agreements with Vodafone and Huawei for 37.5 percent of the available leasable area in Bucharest One, the office tower which will be completed in the last quarter of the next year. Vodafone has leased 16.000 m2 for a ten-year period in the new building located in Northern Bucharest – Floreasca/ Barbu Vacarescu area. With the other tenant, Huawei, the investment fund has concluded an agreement for leasing 2.500 m2 for a five-year period.
