Cernavoda Nuclear plant produced 6.56 million MWh in 2015

The two units at the Cernavoda
nuclear-power plant put out 6.566 million MWh worth of electricity in
the first seven months of 2015, 6.043 million MWH of which were fed
into the national electricity grid of Romania, according to data
posted on the website of Nuclearelectrica and reported by Agrepress.
In the first seven months, unit 1 generated 3.458 million MWh and
delivered 3.176 MWh, which gives an average capacity factor of 96.26
percent, while unit 2 generated 3.108 MWh and delivered 2.867 MWh,
which means an average capacity factor of 87.57 percent. In July 2015, the two units put out
1.010 million MWh.
Unit 1 had a capacity factor of 95.64 percent,
while unit 2 recorded a 97.22 percent capacity factor. In 2014, the two units at the Cernavoda
nuclear-power plant generated 11.675 million MWh worth of
electricity, having delivered 10.753 MWh to the national grid.Since its commissioning and up until
end-July 2014, the two units generated 149.11 million MWh worth of
electricity, having delivered 137.48 million MWh to the national
grid.
