The government signed a memorandum for the sale of shares in several state owned companies

Ministries of Economy, Energy and Transport will submit to the Government, until 15 October 2016 a timetable for implementation strategies for the sale of stakes in several companies, according to a memorandum issued by the Ministry of Finance.

The memorandum shows the proposed sale of minority stakes in companies such as Oltenia Energy Complex, Hidroelectrica, Rompetrol, Bucharest Airports, Maritime Ports Administration.

CFR Marfa privatization would take place in early 2018 but the method of sale has not been yet established. The state is also considering buying the stake owned by the Property at the National Salt Company (Salrom) .
