FAN Courier takes over the transport and logistics operator SLS Cargo

FAN Courier, the leader of the local courier market, consolidates its position through the acquisition of SLS CARGO company, founded in 2014 by businessman Mihai Stoica.The transaction was completed by the shareholders of the two companies at the beginning of November and is currently under approval by the Competition Council.

The experience in the freight forwarding market that our partner complements FAN Courier's objectives of developing, at the quality standards assumed, the range of services offered to our clients. We want to offer our partners for whom we provide services a better experience on all business lines, not only in courier services ”, said Adrian Mihai, managing partner FAN Courier.

Based on the partnership, SLS CARGO will continue to operate under its own brand, without being absorbed by FAN Courier. The founder of the company maintains its position as shareholder and CEO, a similar decision being made also for the top management team of the freight forwarding operator.

Through the development of the portfolio, FAN Courier customers will have access to a wider range of services in the transport-logistics-distribution segment. The short and medium term plans of the two partners include business development and team growth.

FAN Courier, an entirely Romanian private company, founded in 1998, ended the financial year 2018 with a turnover of 147 million euros. The company estimates for the current year a growth of business with 15% and investments of over 15 million euros.
