Vodafone Romania adds approximately 54 million euro (45 million pounds) to the investment plan for the 2014-2016 period, money that will be allocated to speed up the expansion of the 4G network, Inaki Berroeta, Vodafone’s CEO announced during a press conference, quoted by Mediafax.
‘We are going to invest more than we usually did during the last years. We are going to increment the investments in the chain stores and we are going to accelerate the development of the 4G network. Also, we will carry on the investments in fiber-optic networks.’
Subsidiary of the British-based Vodafone Group, Vodafone Romania benefitted over the past years from investment worth some 100 million euro annually. The company is the second largest local mobile operator given the turnover and the number of customers.
