Filip & Company assists Fondul Proprietatea in the sale of its stake in Engie Romania

Filip & Company law firm has assisted Fondul Proprietatea S.A. in the sale of its minority shareholding in Engie Romania S.A. The overall value of the transaction exceeded EUR 86 million. The closing of the sale is subject to the approval of the shareholders of Fondul Proprietatea S.A.. “This transaction is another remarkable success of Fondul Proprietatea in the realisation and liquidation of its portfolio. This also gives Engie the opportunity to strengthen its Romanian holding, so it is a genuine win-win for all parties involved.
