The domestic branch of Bearing Point, a leading management and technology consultant in Europe, has seen a major progress in terms of revenues, last year, when the figures increased by over 50 percent, results that supported the company’s general evolution.
‘BearingPoint Romania had a major contribution to the success of the entire company, revenues have increased by over 50 percent in 2013 and the number of employees in our two offices from Bucharest and Sibiu grew by 46 percent. We aim to increase their number by other 50 percent this year.’ Christian Gurny, Partner with BearingPoint Romania, said according to a media release.
A major progress has been recorded in the automotive, energy, pharmaceutical industries, as well as in the chemicals and telecommunication sectors. Hence, Gurny further added that ‘In 2014 we will focus on these industries in Romania, but also on the banking system and financial markets.’
BearingPoint expanded its worldwide operations and added a broader range of services to its portfolio in 2013, posting revenues of 550 million euro - a growth of over 8 percent over the previous year. After opening new offices in China and Ukraine, the company currently has 30 branches in 18 countries and through its global consultancy network covers a total of 70 countries.
