Deutsche Bank opens this year in Bucharest a global technology center to
support its operations. The center – DB Global Technology - should be
inaugurated by the end of June and will initially employ 100 software specialists. Subsequently,
the German bank intends to expand the workforce by 500 employees in 2016,
according to Mediafax that quotes a press release of the bank.
This will be DB’s fourth global technology center where will be created
software applications for the bank, becoming a platform for highly-skilled
software professionals and it will be managed by Marian Popa, former director
of Endava CEE.
Deutsche Bank,
Germany’s largest bank, entered the Romanian market 16 years ago being focused
on corporate and institutional clients, along with providing private banking
services for natural persons.
