Three of the most important players in the Chinese financial sector showed their interest in financing projects in Romania during meetings with Dan Sova, Ministre of Romania's Department for Infrastructure Projects and Foreign Investments (DPIIS), according to a press release. China Investment Corporation (CIC), China Development Bank and China Exim Bank are willing to funding projects worth more than EUR 3 billion, either by financing Chinese companies developing projects in Romania, or by participating in the privatization of Romanian companies. Besides that, China Development Bank required to receive by November 2013 a detailed presentation and financial estimates of priority investment projects in Romania, in order to analyze it and possibly start further funding proceedings.
