Gartner desginates Schneider as leader for Data Center Infrastructure Management

Schneider Electric  has been recognized by the US information technology research and advisory company Gartner as a leader in the Magic Quadrant for Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), thanks to StruxureWare for Data Centers software suite.

This is the first Magic Quadrant study dedicated to DCIM, after in May, this year, Gartner also marked a premiere with a report on Advanced Distribution Management Systems which recognized Schneider’s performance, as well.

“Gartner’s decision to create a Magic Quadrant in DCIM reflects the increasing maturity of this market, as well as the need for buyer clarity. Following an assessment which  lasted more than eight months, the French-headquartered company has been positioned as the most advanced for Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute due to the wide range of capabilities of the StruxureWare for Data Centers software suite, which enables the management of power supply, climate, security and energy consumption of IT systems and the ability of bridging the gap between IT and facility management, believes Schneider Electric.

The Gartner Magic Quadrant is regarded as the authoritative source for competitive comparisons in the information technology sector. The corresponding reports offer in-depth analyses and visual summaries of the direction and maturity of markets and key vendors.
