Gral Medical this year inaugurated two large clinics in Bucharest and in Ploiesti after investments of 1.5 million euro.
The firstly inaugurated clinic is located in a central area in Bucharest, offering a wide range of medical practices such as: allergy, dermatology, endocrinology, cardiology, rheumatology, ENT, urology, or gynecology.
Similarly, Gral Medical's clinic in Ploiesti comprises over 30 medical offices, a modern medical imaging department, and reserves designed for day hospitalization.
The projects were launched in 2014 as part of a multi-annual investment programme of 5.5 million euro which will be continued this year, according to the private healthcare operator.
“We
will carry on with the development of the company, both horizontally
and vertically, and by 2015 year's end we plan to open two more
centers in cities with population of over 100,000. At this stage we
are analyzing the existing opportunities and we are establishing
strategic objectives for each region,” said
Robert Chitan, Business Development and Promotion Manager of Gral Medical.
For
the coming period, Gral Medical is working towards completing the
expansion of the OncoFort hospital which will double its capacity
from 60 to 120 beds, investment amounting to over 3 million euro.
Gral
Medical is one of the largest private healthcare operators on the
domestic market, the company's revenues in 2014 coming to almost 23
million euro, up by 23 percent against the previous year. The advance
was triggered by the increases recorded by the OncoFort hospital (+35
pct), the Gral Radiology Center (+30 pct) in Bucharest, and by the
other medical centers across the country (+ 41 pct).
